2023 Gift of Hearing Winner!
Christmas Eve was very special at House of Hearing this year. We were able to gift Shirley a pair of premium hearing aids for the holiday season.
Shirley was nominated for the gift of hearing by her 3 daughters. Shirley's daughters have seen the impact of the hearing loss on their mom and their family over many years. Shirley was unable to fully participate in family events due to the worsening of her hearing loss.
The simple things in life that many of us take for granted, such as shopping, have been difficult for Shirley because she has significant difficulty hearing the clerk or cashier. Her daughters have missed visiting with their mom and have special conversations about what is going on in their lives, something many mothers and daughters cherish.
This gift will allow Shirley to have conversations with her husband, daughters and grandchildren and be able to fully participate in family gatherings, conversation and laughter.
